I was working the other day and this song came on the radio…I headed straight for the volume control…this was usual for this song, but for the many times I had done the same thing in my life…I didn’t know who the Artist was…so…when I got home I looked up “Love Train” and found The OJays. This great song has the goods to get your foot tapin and the blood flowin…so I really listened to the words and went on You Tube and found a live version, and in the backdrop of the stage were the words, “SOUL Train”. Well…that just made me wonder more about these OJays. Then I found another You Tube Video on The OJays.
In this concert they preceded Love Train with a 60 second rendition of Rod Stewarts “People Get Ready” which also depicts a Train for all to get on… Now they both had my interest…If they are using Rods “People Get Ready” to intro Their own Love Train Song, then this is all Spiritual!
Rod Stewarts “People Get Ready” is a part of The Vagabond Tour…and The vagabond he is singing about is JESUS…and…now its obvious that the OJays also were talking about a spiritual Train to get on. Those of you who have read “Coming to Get You” will know that these two songs are priceless to be played and heard in the secular radio community…Just great stuff!!
So…listen to the message folks…here are a couple of FAMOUS Singers who KNOW that The JESUS Train to Heaven is coming…and as Rod put it…You don’t need no ticket, you just Thank The LORD and GET ON BOARD, and Faith is The Key…Look to JESUS friends…ask for forgiveness…repent of your sins…we all have em…and find PEACE in your life and JOY FOREVER with GOD!
