I don’t recall watching much TV in my teen years…I really only remember 2 things…The “Now I know / Fake Moon Landing”…and This footage of a Pope being carried on his Throne by 6 or 8 Guys through a segment of The Vatican.
I remember starring at the TV…not for seconds, but minutes and this comment kept racing through my mind…over and over…but I said nothing…I just kept starring at this Pope being hoisted and carried on his Throne…finally after a minute or two It just burst out of me…”THAT HAS TO BE DIRTY”!
Now I was already a Christian Boy at this early age…and…I can see now….that even at this early age that The LORD gave my some Wisdom, Knowledge and Discernment.
“Dirty” was DEAD accurate…and of course a few decades have passed…and there has been many a decade where I had no further comment on The Roman Catholic Church.
In 1996 I met a girl who brought me to MASS. I had the same feeling about this ceremony (creepy) but I endured because of my new friend.
